HOW STRESS DEFUSION WORKS

In a totally over simplified way this hands on technique works with the neurological level of the brain for both people and animals to re-sort how memories, both emotional and experiential, have been categorized and stored.

Right/Left Brain theory helps us fully understand why dyslexias occur and how the emotions play a large role in disrupting the even flow of communication between the two hemispheres.

When this even flow is disrupted, our systems lockup and move into a survival reaction mode instinctively.

Since emotions are closely connected and stored on the meridians of our physical structure, it is common for gentle touch to evoke tears as old hurts bubble to the surface to be released. Once the tears, be it sadness, frustration ,or anger, are released the body shifts to letting the the memory release.

By utilizing a specialized form of Applied Kinesiology and Bio-feedback points your body is able to release the patterns of past experiences and emotions that are no longer desirable. It even can assist in releasing fears and phobias. Think of it like defraging your computer. These actions / reactions may no longer hold the same importance to your survival as they may have say when you were a kid. Once the body is given the chance to sort those old files you are left with more choices and options for your actions and more room to be who ever it is you want to be now in present time.

Stress Diffusion does not demand an individual re-experience the event that brought on the emotional stress, which is why this technique is great for individuals who have suffered traumas and abuse.
